Bio

Samuel Garner is a composer based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in writing music for Film, Games, and TV. His work is highly lyrical and lush, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of genres. With writing that seamlessly blends acoustic and synthetic palettes, he is able to efficiently capture story and tone through unique harmonic language and timbral qualities.

Putting discovery at the forefront of his creative process, Sam seeks to curate a tailor made sound palette for each project he undertakes, providing each collaborator with a score they couldn't find anywhere else.

Born in Winter Haven, FL. He began studying music at the University of Florida (2020), receiving 4 years of classical vocal training, his teaching certification, and degree in Choral Music Education. He then received his Masters in Screen Scoring at Columbia College Chicago (2024), where he collaborated with numerous filmmakers and game developers.

Now based in LA, Sam continues his work in film and game music, collaborating, and assisting other composers. Being thorough and detail-oriented, and maintaining a high standard for the work he delivers allows him to thrive in bringing creative projects to life with others.
